Virtually all financial donations and grants received by Neighbors are devoted to supporting refugee families. Neighbors invests:

• $15,000 to $35,000 to fully resettle a family during their first year.

• $2,000 to $5,000 to supplement a family's resettlement, to cover initial rent and security deposit, travel expenses from a refugee camp to the U.S., and the like.

• $250 to $1,000 in Road to Independence (R2I) and Housing/Food Security grants (nearly one quarter of our annual budget) to refugee families for specific needs such as food, rent driver training and licensing, cell phone service, clothing, and medial fees.
